For independent insurance brokers
Every renewal means typing the same risk into one insurer portal after another.
The client's details are already in your broker management system. Your account handlers still key them into each insurer's portal, rebuild the market submission, and fill in the certificate by hand. We build the systems that do that rekeying and drafting from your own records, with a handler approving every document, and we keep them running.
You will recognise at least one of these
01
The same risk, keyed into every portal
To get terms at renewal, a handler types the same business description, turnover, claims history and sums insured into one insurer portal after another, then copies the quotes into a spreadsheet to compare them.
02
The market submission rewritten each year
For risks that go to underwriters by email, the submission is assembled from the proposal form, the schedule, the claims experience and the survey report, and largely rewritten every year.
03
The certificate needed before the site opens
A contractor client needs a certificate of insurance before they can start on a job tomorrow. Everything it needs is on the policy record, and someone still builds it by hand.
04
Claims, changes and queries in one inbox
A first notification of a loss, a request to add a vehicle, a change of address and a renewal question all arrive in the same inbox, and somebody reads each one to decide who it is for.
What we take off the desk
Each of these is built from information your firm already holds. Somebody is retyping it. We stop that, and we keep it running after it is built.
Not sure which one to start with? Send us the thing that eats the most afternoons. We reply within one business day, and within 1-2 business days you have in writing what we would build first and what it would cost.
Risk details prepared for each insurer
Client and risk data taken from your broker management system and laid out against each insurer's questions, so the handler reviews the answers before submitting instead of typing them.
Submissions and quote comparisons
Market submissions drafted from the proposal, schedule and claims history in your own format, and the quotes that come back read into a side-by-side view of premium, excess and the terms that differ.
Renewal and recommendation letters
Renewal invitations, statements of fact and recommendation letters drafted from the policy record and the quotes obtained, in your own templates, for the handler to check and send.
Certificates of insurance on request
Certificates produced from the policy record in your template, checked against the schedule and limits, and filed against the client once the handler approves.
An inbox sorted by client and request
Incoming email matched to the client and the policy, labelled as claim, adjustment, renewal or query, and routed to the right handler, with claim notifications put at the top.
How the first two weeks go
01
You tell us where the rekeying happens
One conversation, or one email. Which broker system you use, which insurers you place with most, what a renewal involves in your office. We reply within one business day.
02
We write the scope
A one-page document: what gets built first, what it needs access to, what it costs, and the date. Fixed. You decide with a number in hand.
03
It goes into production
Built against your real policy records, tested on renewals you have already placed, switched on with a handler approving every document until you say otherwise.
Every offer has a written scope before any invoice, and a fixed price on that scope. If something we built ever stops, the first to hear about it is us, not your client. The full list of what we charge for is on the pricing page. A written diagnostic of something already broken starts at $500£400€450, credited in full against the repair if you go ahead within 90 days.
Questions we get from insurance firms
Does this replace our account handlers?+
No. It takes the rekeying and the first drafts off them. Advice, the recommendation and anything that goes to a client or an insurer stays with a person who reads it and approves it.
Which broker management systems do you work with?+
Anything with an export or an API, which today is most of them. If yours only has a screen, we start from the documents it produces and work backwards. Tell us the name and we will tell you within one business day.
How does this fit our compliance and record keeping?+
Every draft is stored with the data it came from and the name of the person who approved it, so the file shows what was sent and why. The wording that has to go to clients is the wording your compliance lead signs off, whether you answer to the FCA or a state insurance department. Client data stays in accounts in your name, under a data processing agreement.
Have you built anything like this?+
The closest work is for a well drilling and hydrogeology company: a system that drafts their documents from project data in their own templates, so the engineer checks instead of writing. They have since ordered further systems. For a digital agency we built a phone voice agent that answers from the business's own information and hands over to a person when needed. Broker letters and certificates are the same shape of problem: your records, your templates, a person approving.
What does it cost?+
Every build has a written scope and a fixed price on that scope before any invoice. Build sprints run from $3,000 to $25,000, care after launch starts at $1,000 a month, and the first 30-minute consultation is free. The full list is on the pricing page, in pounds for UK firms.
Describe the problem. Get a written quote.
Outline the failing system, or the process that should stop being manual. Every enquiry is answered by the engineer who would do the work.

Within one business day
A reply from the person who would do the work: whether we can help, what it would cost, and what we would do first.

The price, the date, what is included. Send a log instead and the written diagnostic comes back in two business days.

What you will not get
Discovery workshops billed by the hour, slide decks, or a handoff to a sales team. If we are not the right fit, we say so and name a better one.
