One engineer who has shipped the thing he sells
Lurto is a one-engineer studio with a specific opinion: most AI sold to businesses today does not survive contact with production, because demos are easy and systems that keep working after an API change, a model update, or a renamed CRM field are not.
Six systems run today. One of them is our own AI receptionist, which answers a real phone line on real telephony with real CRM integrations behind it, and ships against an eval harness that places test calls and scores the transcript before anything reaches a customer. It is written up on the work page alongside the client systems, which are built on the same stack to the same standard.
The oldest of those client systems is a document generator for a hydrogeology firm. As of August 2026 it has produced 168 regulatory documents and holds 349 boreholes in the client database. That number is the whole pitch, because a demo of it would have looked identical on day one.
A lot of the work is repair. Three of the six rescues we have scoped started the same way: the person who built it was gone, and every account was still in his name. That experience is why the handover terms on this site are specific to the point of being boring.
The business model is deliberately simple: fixed published prices, a paid audit that credits against the build, and a monthly care report that shows you the numbers. No hourly billing, because hourly billing pays us more for being slow and nothing for being clever.
EU (Lithuania) · working US & UK hours
The person who scopes your system writes the code and answers when it breaks. There is nobody else here to hand it to.
Tools we build with
n8n, Make, Zapier, Claude, OpenAI, LiveKit, Twilio, ElevenLabs, Supabase, PostgreSQL, Next.js, Python, TypeScript, Stripe, Docker. Whichever the job needs; we are not a single-tool shop.
US & UK hours
Calls booked in your timezone, replies within one business day. Distance shows up nowhere except our cost base.
GDPR-native for UK clients
EU-UK data adequacy means clean paperwork with no extra clauses. For US compliance needs, inference and storage run in US regions.
Fixed-scope contracts
Every engagement runs on a written statement of work: deliverables, price, timeline. Clean for your procurement, clean for us.
What you will not get here
Capacity, mainly. One engineer can hold roughly two builds and a handful of care clients at once, so there are weeks when the honest answer to a new project is a date six weeks out or a recommendation to talk to somebody else. You will get that answer on the first call rather than after a deposit.
There is also no bench to escalate to. If this studio is the wrong size for what you are buying, a firm of thirty people is a real alternative and we will say so.
I answer the email, write the code and pick up when it breaks. If that stops being true, this page will say so.

A thirty-minute call and a price at the end of it
You leave with a straight answer and a number, whether or not we work together.
