Send us the log. Two business days later you have a diagnosis and a price

No call to book, no slot to find inside somebody else's morning, no discovery session. You send an execution log and a sentence about what should have happened. We send back a written root-cause report and a fixed repair price. From $500£400€450, credited in full against the repair, and refunded if it cannot name a fixable cause.

Read and written by the engineer who would also do the repair.

How it goes

01

You send what you have

An export of the failing execution, a screenshot of the error, or read access to the workflow. Whichever is easiest. If you only have a sentence describing what went wrong, send that; we will tell you what else we need.

02

We read it, not skim it

We open the execution history, find the first run that failed, and work out what changed between the last good one and that one. Most outages have a timestamp, and the timestamp usually belongs to somebody else: a rotated key, a schema change, an expired consent.

03

You get a document, not a meeting

Two business days later: what broke, why, what it will cost to repair, and what it would cost to rebuild instead if repairing is the worse deal. Written so you can forward it to somebody who was not on any call.

What lands in your inbox

One document, written for somebody who has to make a decision about money, not for another engineer.

  • The root cause, named, with the evidence from your own logs quoted underneath it
  • A fixed repair price and a date, not a range and a discovery call
  • The rebuild price too, when rebuilding is genuinely cheaper, with both numbers side by side
  • What we would harden so the same class of failure does not come back
  • An honest line if the fix is small enough that you should just do it yourself

The intake

Send it

Five fields. The last one is the only one that matters, and a rough paste of a log is better than a polished description of it.

  1. 01

    Within one business day

A reply from the engineer who would do the repair: whether we can help, and what we still need.

  2. 02

    Within two business days

The written diagnosis: what broke, why, the fixed repair price and the rebuild price beside it.

  3. 03

    Then it is yours

Forward it, act on it, or hand it to somebody else. The fee comes off any work we do next.

From $500£400€450, credited in full against the repair. Refunded if the report cannot name a fixable cause.

Questions before sending

Why is there no call?+

Because a call makes both sides find a slot before any work starts. A written diagnosis lands in your inbox on its own schedule and can be forwarded to a colleague who was never in the room. If you want a call afterwards you can have one, but it is not the price of entry.

What does it cost?+

From $500, and it comes off the price of whatever we fix or build next, in full, if you go ahead within 90 days. If you take the document and fix it yourself, or hand it to somebody else, you owe nothing more and you keep the report. From £400, and it comes off the price of whatever we fix or build next, in full, if you go ahead within 90 days. What if you cannot find anything?+

Then it is free. That is guarantee G/05 on the pricing page: if the report cannot name a fixable root cause, the diagnostic is refunded. It has not happened yet, but it belongs in writing rather than in goodwill.

Do you need access to our systems?+

Read access helps and speeds it up, but it is not required. An exported execution log carries most of what we need. Where we do take access, it is under an account in your name that you can revoke the moment the report lands.

Everything else we charge for is on the pricing page, and the failures we get called about most are written up under fixes.
